By accessing dailycourtfilings.com (the “Site”) or requesting, subscribing to, or receiving reports from Daily Court Filings (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our reports.
2. Description of Service
Daily Court Filings compiles publicly available Florida civil court filing information into structured reports, delivered to subscribers by email on a schedule and filtered by the counties and practice areas they select. Sample reports may be provided free of charge; ongoing reports are provided under the pricing described on our Pricing page or as otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Nature of the Data
All filing information contained in our reports is drawn exclusively from public court records. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any filing information, as it reflects data as recorded by the applicable Florida courts at the time it was compiled. Our reports are intended as a business development and intake tool and are not a substitute for independent verification through official court records.
4. No Legal Advice
Nothing on the Site or in our reports constitutes legal advice. Daily Court Filings is a data and reporting service, not a law firm, and use of our reports does not create an attorney-client relationship of any kind.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
Ongoing reports are billed per record delivered, as described at the time you begin service. There are no long-term contracts or minimum commitments. You may pause, adjust, or cancel your reports at any time by contacting us; charges already incurred for records delivered prior to cancellation remain payable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site and our reports only for lawful business purposes related to your legal practice, and not to resell, redistribute, or republish our reports in bulk to third parties outside your firm without our prior written consent.
7. Intellectual Property
The compilation, organization, and formatting of the data in our reports, along with the Site's design, text, and graphics, are the property of Daily Court Filings and may not be copied or reproduced without our permission, except for your firm's internal business use.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site and our reports are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Court Filings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our reports, including any decisions made in reliance on filing information contained in them.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or our reports for any user who violates these Terms of Use. You may stop using our reports at any time as described above.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our reports after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
